Outside Catering

Coffee Cup owner, Gary, can provide outside catering for your party, function or celebration in Filey, Scarborough, Bridlington or the surrounding areas.

Prior to opening the Coffee Cup, Gary had been involved in catering for over 25 years and has worked in numerous hotels as well as running his own guest house in Blackpool.

Gary has catered for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and other major celebrations and, along with his team, can cater for parties large or small across all budget levels.

Sample Menus

Below we have provided three sample menus that should give you some idea of what we can offer along with the cost per head.

As you can see from the menus below, we can keep things simple but appetising, or we can offer a very extensive selection of fare on a par with a gastro hotel (with the advantage of not charging their prices).

The buffet can be cold, or include hot and cold dishes. We can provide waitresses and waiters to serve hot food and to refresh the food selections as guests visit the buffet.

Buffet 1

  • A selection of closed sandwiches served in either white or brown rolls with the following fillings -
    Cheddar Cheese
    Tuna and Egg Mayo

  • Pork Pie
  • Sausage Rolls
  • Roast Chicken legs
  • Cost per head 7.00

    Buffet 2

  • A selection of closed sandwiches in white or brown bread with the following fillings -
    Roast Beef
    Gammon Ham
    Tuna and Smoked Salmon
    Egg Mayonnaise

  • Homemade Cheese and Onion Quiche
  • Homemade Bacon and Brie Turnovers
  • Chicken Legs
  • Individual Pork Pies
  • Crisps etc
  • Cost per head 9.50

    Buffet 3

  • Canape selection with a mix of the following -
    Smoked Salmon
    Cream Cheese
    Pate etc
    (Also mini Stuffed Mushrooms as a vegetarian option)

  • Hand cut finger sandwiches in brown granary or white bread with the following fillings -
    Roast Beef
    Festival Ham
    Mature Cheddar Cheese
    Tuna with Mayo and diced tomato
    Smoked Salmon
    Chicken and Mayo

  • Individual wraps with the following fillings
    Breast of Chicken with a Tikka Mayo sauce
    Savoury Cheese (our own recipe)

  • Homemade Quiche Tartlets with fillings of Cheese and Onion and Bacon and Cheese - all in individual short crust tart cases
  • Locally sourced Gala Pie
  • Homemade Bacon and Brie Turnovers in flaky pastry
  • Cheeseboard selection with crackers
  • Our own homemade Chocolate Truffles
  • Cost per head 14.00

    Please note that these are just a selection of our buffet menus. We can cater for any specific requirements including special dietary needs, or vegetarian and vegan food, and we can also create a buffet selection based around your personal tastes and favourite dishes.

    A few things to think about before you call

    If you are planning to have outside catering for a special event, Gary will need to know the following in order to put together a menu and price.

    • Location of the venue and venue facilities
    • Date and time of the event
    • Number of people
    • Approximate cost per head
    • Number of courses (e.g. starters, main courses, desserts)
    • Number of different main dishes
    • Any special requirements, e.g. vegetarian
    • Types of tableware, plates, cutlery etc required
    • Any other requirements that you have
